Problem:

  1. I can't seem to log in.

Possible Solution - Try your user name and password again, you may have mistyped them. Keep in mind that both are 'case' sensitive. This is especially important to those of you who regularly type with 'Caps Lock' on.

  2. My username and password do not work.

  3. Nothing happens when I click the 'Submit' button.

Possible Solution - Set your browser to accept cookies. In Internet Explorer 5 this is done in the 'Internet Options' window under 'Security'. Click 'Custom Level' and scroll down to 'Cookies' and click the 'Enable Cookies' radio button. In Netscape this is done in the 'Preferences' window under 'Advanced.' Simply click the 'Accept All Cookies' radio button.

  4. The data on the site is old.

Possible Solution - Flush your browser's cache. If you are using Internet Explorer, on the menu bar and click on Tools, then Internet Options. Then on the "General" tab, in the middle of the page, click on Delete Files and click ok. This will delete previous cached versions of our Web site that may not be working. This will give you a clean slate to access the Web again.

If you are using AOL 4.0 or 5.0, which includes a Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, then click on 'My AOL Preferences' and then 'WWW'. Then follow the same instructions as above, i.e., on the 'General' tab, click on 'Delete Files' in the middle of the page and the click ok.

In Netscape Communicator 4.05, click on 'Edit' then 'Preferences'. Click the plus sign to the left of the 'Advanced' menu item. Click on 'Cache'. Click on the two buttons 'Clear Memory Cache' and 'Clear Disk Cache,' and click ok. This will flush cached versions of the Web site and allow you to load the latest version.
